The mission of The Grannie Annie Family Story Celebration is to celebrate family stories! What better way to celebrate family stories than to share them in a book?

The Grannie Annie anthologies include selections submitted to The Grannie Annie Family Story Celebration. The stories are written by students in grades 4-8, based on interviews with their family storykeepers.

The Grannie Annie stories are entertaining, inspiring, and thought-provoking. They bring history to life, giving vivid personal accounts of life in the "good old days" and often providing an insider's perspective on historic events. They connect us with people from different places and different times.
