Guarantee/Refund

Portico Books wants you to be happy with your purchase. If there is a problem with an order, please let us know and we will promptly rectify it. If you are dissatisfied with a product for any reason, please return it to us for a full refund.

GrammarAndMore uses Mals-e.com shopping cart service and the secure server service provided by aitsaife.com. Aitsafe is the owner of a current and valid Thawte Certificate guaranteeing the highest possible degree of consumer security when placing an order with GrammarAndMore.

You will reach the secure server section of the ordering process once you have entered your name and address into the order form. Upon submission of this information, you will enter the secure server site, where you will be asked to enter your credit card information. Your credit card information is entered and temporarily stored on the secure server. It is deleted when we retrieve your order. Your private information is not permanently stored on the server for this Web site, Mals-e.com, or the secure server. We do maintain a database of customer information for internal company use that is not shared with or sold to any other company or organization.

Sales or Use Tax

If your state, not including Texas or Kansas, charges use tax for products purchased through mail order or the Internet, please report to your state's taxing authority your use tax owed on your purchases from GrammarAndMore.com. Reporting and paying use tax is the responsibility of the purchaser. Neither GrammarAndMore.com nor Portico Books will bear any responsibility or liability for failure to report or pay use tax to any purchaser's state taxing authority.

If your state is Texas or Kansas, GrammarAndMore.com and Portico Books will be charging a use tax for any products ordered. The amount of tax will vary depending upon the rate charged by your municipality. The appropriate amount will be added to your total purchase cost.

Missouri customers will have sales tax of 6.425 percent added to their order.

Shipping

Portico Books ships most orders within 24 hours. Orders are usually shipped via United States Postal Service (Media Mail). If you want your order shipped via Priority Mail, you would be subject to a higher shipping fee. Larger orders are frequently shipped via FedEx Ground.

Due to the constraints of our shopping cart, shipping charges cannot be added to your shopping cart order when it is placed. We will manually add them, according to the schedule below, when your order is processed.

Shipping charges for personal orders of multiple products are based upon starting with the highest shipping cost and adding $0.50 for each additional item. For example, if you order Hands-On English and Hands-On Sentences, your shipping cost will be $4.50.

Shipping Charges on personal orders are as follows:

• The Package Deal: $6.00 for the first Package and $1.50 for each additional Package. The Package consists of Hands-On English, the Activity Book (Reproducible Edition), and Hands-On Sentences.

• The Activity Book (Reproducible Edition or Consumable Edition): $5.00 unless it is ordered with the Package Deal, at which time the shipping charge is reduced to $0.50.

• Hands-On English or Student Workbook: $4.00 unless it is ordered with the Activity Book or the Package Deal, at which time the shipping charge is reduced to $0.50.

• Hands-On Sentences, Hands-On Icons, or Hands-On T-Shirt: $2.00 unless ordered with any other product, at which time the shipping charge is reduced to $0.50.

Shipping charges on international orders and on large institutional orders are calculated on an individual basis.
